Dong Thap University
Dong Thap University is the institution we are visiting. It's a huge school compared to what I'm used to. ideally vertically. Though this might have something to do with the fact that it's flat land, you could walk for 20 minutes left or right and you'd still be close to DThU. It was clear that DThU was interested in nurturing more than just the knowledge of the students despite the fact that the majority of the facilities on the campus were buildings for traditional learning classes. Basketball, badminton, and soccer courts were among the many available for various sports. Along with a building designated for their libraries, the school had both an indoor pool and an outdoor pool for practice.
School Facilities
Theater Hall
It accommodates live performances such as plays, musicals, opera, cultural dance dance, and other theatrical productions. The hall has a stage constructed at one end and seating arranged in front of it to allow the audience to view the performance. The size and shape of the theater hall can vary significantly depending on the venue's capacity, acoustics, and design. The seating in the theater hall can range from plush, comfortable theater seats to folding chairs.
Language Learning room
The language learning room is designed to help students improve their language skills and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures. It provides students with opportunities to practice their language skills in real-life situations.
School Library
It provides study space for students who need a quiet place to work, as well as access to computers and other technology that can be used for research and learning. Overall, the school library plays an important role in supporting students' learning and helping them to succeed academically. Also, I observed that the library is open until 9:30 pm which can help the students to learn more.
Deployment School
Future School
We were assigned to the Future School, which has facilities that can accommodate students from Kindergarten to 9th grade. It was a large school with plans to build a high school in the near future. It is a school that prepares its students to potentially further their education in Germany if they so desire, and thus teaches English and German alongside other subjects.
